Matt gained his skills working in his father’s family business starting at age sixteen and now brings ten years of experience to every project. Supporting him behind the scenes is his wife, Katrina, who assists in various areas to ensure the business runs smoothly.

Outside of their work, Matt and Katrina focuses on their family, managing their own house projects, care for their farm, and embracing a wholesome country lifestyle.

Meet Jeremy, who started working for his father’s trim carpentry business at fourteen years old and has continued in the trade. Working alongside his father’s business for many years, he has developed a love for his work within the trade of trim carpentry, flooring, and cabinets. When Jeremy and the team is at your home, you will have the opportunity to meet him personally and witness his dedication, professionalism, and his attention to detail.

Beyond his work, Jeremy, alongside his wife Darlene, dedicates time to assisting others with their projects, managing their own home remodel, trail riding and camping when they have the opportunity, and caring for their horses, milking cows and goats, and trying to embrace a slow country lifestyle.

Meet Derek, who relocated to Colorado in April and joined the Helmuth Custom Interiors team. Back in his previous location, he worked in a custom cabinet shop and then later joined the trucking business. With his relocation, he wanted a change and went into the trim carpentry. When Derek and the team is at your home, you will have the opportunity to witness his precision and attention to detail. Derek’s dream someday is to start his own furniture business, and Helmuth Custom Interiors is helping him expand his knowledge and experience in the woodworking business.

Beyond his work, Derek loves huntin,’ fishin,’ and lovin’ every day in his own terminology. He also loves spending time with friends, being outdoors hiking, and training his horse.
